“Christ In The Crises Of Our Lives” Conference @ Waverly’s RADA Center
Everyone is invited to a FREE, life-impacting Conference, at Waverly’s RADA Center , on Sunday, September 18th, from 1:30-5:45 pm. Featured speakers include Mr. Aaron Thomas, author of the just-released book: The Sacred Acre, whose father, the late Coach Ed Thomas was killed in Parkersburg in 2009; and Mrs. Kellie Stocker, whose daughter – a talented dancer - was tragically killed in an automobile accident in 2009.
Every one of us suffers! None of us are exempt. It could be said that we are all fellow sufferers. The question is: ‘How do we make sense of our sufferings; and how do we deal with our sufferings when they hit?’ The purpose of this FREE conference is to give answers to the sufferings and crises that each one of us faces in our lives.
The theme of this conference – hosted by St. John Lutheran Church of Waverly, Iowa – is:
“Christ In The Crises Of Our Lives”! Our speakers will speak candidly of their trials, but they will focus their presentation on the comfort Jesus gives, and God’s love for us in Christ, that we can rely on when we go through the really rough times in our lives! Special music will be provided throughout the conference by the ‘211 Band’ - the worship band of Christ Lutheran Church in Lincoln , NE.
Aaron Thomas, and Kellie Stocker, will be available during the conference for you to purchase a ‘signed’ copy of their latest book. The ‘211 Band’ will also have their Christian albums on sale!
This conference will be a blessing for all sufferers of all ages, but is especially geared towards Junior High, High School, and College students; as well as young families. Because of the sensitive nature of the topics being discussed, this conference is not geared towards young children. Parents, please use your discretion. Space is limited, and expected to fill up quickly, so be sure to arrive early. This conference is FREE; however, a free-will offering will be collected.
So please join us September 18th, at Waverly’s RADA center, for this life-impacting conference.
